Scholarship Criteria

Recipients must be a California residents who identify as Black, Indigenous, and/or a People of Color & who are aspiring midwives on their individual journey to a midwifery education. A person can apply for a scholarship if they met the established criteria. The amount of the scholarship is $500 to be awarded 12/2021 and is not renewable.

Eligibility Requirements:

Demonstrates a commitment to pursuing an education in midwifery
Clear timeline leading up to when when they plan to apply to a midwifery education of choice (with a goal of becoming a Nurse Midwife or Licensed Midwife)
Describe where on their journey to midwifery school they are currently & how these funds will be supportive
